The Susuriga Masquerade Festival brings masked revellers to the streets of Kriva Palanka each February to welcome the new year and send the old one away. Organised by the Foundation "With Heart for Kriva Palanka", it revives the traditions and rituals shared across the cross-border region. Costumed participants, tourists and residents come together for a lively, colourful winter spectacle.
