The Bride's Pilgrimage to St. Theodore Tyron (Todoritsa) is a rite-of-passage custom held each March in the village of Konopnitsa near Kriva Palanka. Also known as the "Adoration of the Bride", it gathers young women married between the two St. Theodore Tyron Saturdays, accompanied by their mothers-in-law in authentic national costume. Organised by the Patnik Association of Kriva Palanka, it is a rare and touching folk tradition of the border region, open to visitors, residents and artisans.
