The three-day festival "Balkan Heritage of the 19th Century" brings the traditional culture of the Balkans to life in Kratovo, held within the period from 23 October 2026 to 22 January 2027. Organised by PEONIYA, Kratovo as a joint event under the CULTURAL AREA Project, it presents Balkan folklore, food and costumes alongside a reenactment of a battle against the Ottomans. Local communities and the NGO sector are especially invited to take part.
