Each September, European Heritage Days open the History Museum of Dupnitsa and the Regional History Museum of Kyustendil as part of the continent-wide initiative. Organised by the two museums, the days feature special exhibits highlighting the region's shared heritage. Tourists, students and citizens from across the cross-border region are all invited to explore.
